IT'S OFFICIAL - WE'RE ON THE WAIT LIST!!!

RECEIVED OUR I-171A APPROVAL TODAY. THE FINGERPRINT RESULTS ONLY TOOK FOUR DAYS - INCREDIBLE TURNAROUND BY THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA!!!

NEXT STEP....THE REFERRAL!

The Referral is when you get the picture of your baby...then 4-6 weeks later you travel to Ethiopia to meet him/her and bring him/her home. Yay!

7/15 - Dossier complete and to WACAP

8/31 - I-171A approval PUT ON THE WACAP WAIT LIST FOR OUR SECOND ADOPTION

2009

6/23 - Inter. Homestudy Agency

6/26 - Homestudy Begins

7/1 - Inter. Placement Agencies

7/6 - First SW Mtg

7/7 - Fingerprint Apt

7/9 - Inter. Placement Agency

7/16 - LiveScan prints arrive

7/20 - Hired WACAP

7/29 - 2nd & 3rd SW Mtg

8/5 - Notarize Dossier docs.

8/15 - WACAP accepted Dossier

8/28 - I-171A Fingerprints

8/31 - I-171A approval PUT ON THE WACAP WAIT LIST

9/28 - Dossier sent to DC / State Dept

10/8 - Dossier approved by State Dept and sent to Ethiopia

4/28/10 - REFERRAL!!!!!!!!!!

6/2/10 - Court Date - PASSED

7/20/10 - Travel Date. Group #32

7/30/10 - New Travel Group #33, due to US Embassy slow up

8/13 - Home for good
