Eight Months

I called WACAP last week to see if they were on track with the eight-ten month referral times. They told me YES. What does this mean?  It means the "magical call" from area code 206 should come in the next month or two. The wait for our referral is getting increasingly hard and I'm getting increasingly impatient. While we wait, Nick and I are making lists and lists of all the stuff we need to do...

• Immunizations & Vaccines
• Picking an international doctor to review our referral
• Pediatrician selection
• Travel plans - Dubai, Ethiopia
• Passport updates
• Baby beds, strollers etc
• Reading all our books on International adoption 

This weekend we're going to Oakland to the famous Ethiopian neighborhood to check out some restaurants and stores.
