We can't believe it...the referral for OUR NEW BABY BOY ARRIVED last Thursday afternoon and we can now officially announce it!!!!! Nick and I are so HAPPY and overwhelmed and have already started our To Do list, which is pretty deep. Thursday night after we got the call, Nick and I ran to Babies R Us...and pretty much walked around like zombies, not knowing what to buy. We left with a baby thermometer and a jar of baby food (apple) for Ellie. How we doing???? We spent Friday night celebrating with many bottles of wine not to be out done by Phil and Mark, who were "five bottles in" celebrating the great news when we talked to them on the phone...LOL.
We can't wait to share this new adventure with all our family and friends and thank you all for being with us along the way!

The next step is our "court date" - where he officially becomes ours. The court date is projected to be after May 18th. And then three-six weeks later we travel to Ethiopia to bring him home.

Hi Harmony -- Nick and I were laughing the entire walk through Baby's R Us...but seriously, it was a wake-up call to get our list together...and if you knew my husband, he can't survive without a task list. :)) We bought a stroller this past weekend, one down lots to go.
