Where did it go?

Where did two months go? Blaming work as the months of January thru April are non-stop for me. Let me catch you up on all things Lucas!

But first...don't you think it's strange that these little creatures go from being babies to toddlers in a matter of a day? Although, in a weird way it did seem like Luke's learning kicked into high gear after his first birthday.

There are so MANY amazing things about Luke!

Every morning, we bring him into our bed (he starts calling for us btw 5-6am, oy) and the first thing he does is give Nick a kiss, Ellie a kiss and me kiss. I think that's amazing for a 1yr old!

What else is amazing? I show him a new object and it's forever burned into his growing brain.  I might say, where is the clock? He points to the clock or I'll ask him to go get a particular book, which might be in a different room and he goes to get that book. I don't know...I just think that's amazing.

What else is amazing? He's seen his doctor three times and after the first visit, at 6 months, he clearly remembered him. We walk in the door, he see's the doctor and the screaming/crying begins because he knows what's coming, ouch!

What else is amazing?  He picked up sign language in a few days.  He told me tonight he wanted to "eat" and every morning he signs "milk."  I think that's amazing and thrilling.

What else is amazing?  I swear to you he wakes up in the morning bigger and/or taller.
