Happy News...

We had such great news today! We are part of a WACAP Yahoo Group made up of families adopting from Ethiopia. Currently, six of these families are in Ethiopia passing court and officially becoming parents. They are the first group to fall under the two-trip rule and will return in about six weeks to bring their babies/kids home. Today, in one of the group emails, a mother mentioned visiting all the infants at the WACAP house. So...I wrote this mother in Ethiopia and asked if she'd come across Dagmawi and got this happy news in return.

"...we did and he is just BEAUTIFUL!! his eyes are so big, he's just this happy baby and when my husband made a funny face at him he just had this big grin on his face! he is in great hands - the nannies are loving him to death! congratulations! we couldn't remember who is mommy and daddy were so I'm glad you posted." Nick and I are were smiling all day!!! Three weeks and counting. We leave July 17th!!!!!
